Section 1 - Real world / Third party trading
1.1 - Gold, items or any form of in-game currency, including player accounts on the Lotus server is not to be sold or solicited for any real world currency.
1.2 - Gold, items or any form of in-game currency besides Donations, including player accounts on the Lotus server is not to be sold or solicited for any third-party virtual currency, including, but not limited to, Runescape gold.
1.3 - Lotus characters/accounts should not be traded, solicited, or sold for any other means of Lotus currency, including account for account trades.
Section 2 - Scamming
2.1 - Players are not to use any form of in-game fault or bug in order to scam another player on the Lotus server.
2.2 - Players are not to attempt to use donation trades as a means of scamming. Any donation trades that do not comply with Section 2, subsection 3, will be at your own risk. Items that are scammed, will not be refunded at all.
2.3 - Players are not to complete donation trades without the presence of a staff member or a trusted middleman who will have an in-game rank, and act as a middleman who will take both payments and hold until the trade is successful.
2.4 - Players must only place their trust with trusted dicers. Dicing with un-trusted dicer will mean in the event you are scammed, your items will become void and you will not receive any refund.
2.5 - Dice hosts, trusted or not, must not force members to dice with them as a means to gain in-game, or third party currency. It is entirely at the player's discretion.
Section 3 - Bug abuse
3.1 - Players must not abuse any in-game fault, or bug which can/may cause game alterations, which may, or may not provide an advantage over other players. Any bugs should be reported to higher staff.
3.2 - Players must not solicit, trade, or sell the method of performing bugs in order to gain personal profit.
3.3 - Players must not intentionally manipulate the client in order to attempt to gain any personal advantage or profit.
3.4 - Players must not bypass any set filters which are set by either the Lotus client, or the Lotus server.
3.5 - Players must not attempt to use a third-party, or unknown client to connect to the Lotus server.
3.6 - Players must not use any third-party software, applications, or code with Lotus in order to gain personal advantage.
Section 4 - Spamming / Disruption
4.1 - Players should not be using the chat function in order to spam the server with any form of text
4.2 - Players should not be using the chat function in order to disrupt other players with excessive amounts of text.
4.3 - Players should not be using the chat function to advertise any form of foreign link, including, but not limited to, third-party websites that are not related to Lotus and third-party servers.
4.4 - Players should not be using the yell function to have large personal conversations across the world.
4.5 - Players should not be using the clan chat function to argue with other players.
Section 5 - Staff impersonation
5.1 - Players should not attempt to impersonate a staff member of any level.
5.2 - Players should not attempt to deceive another player into thinking that they are a staff member for reasons including, but not limited to, malicious purposes, personal gain/advantage.
5.3 - Players should not attempt to change client values in order to obtain a staff crown and deceive other players. This rule is linked to Section 3, subsection 3.
5.4 - Players should not attempt to use an in-game character name similar to a staff member's, whether the intention is to impersonate or not. Other players may be confused by this and therefore should not be done.
5.5 - Players should not attempt to bypass the character name filter within the Lotus server. This rule is linked to Section 3, subsection 4.
Section 6 - Respecting other players
6.1 - Players should treat other each and every member with respect.
6.2 - Regardless of position of power, players should not disrespect, cause means of mental harm, or insult other members of Unholy Lotus which includes, but not limited to flaming. This rule does have leniency and will allow mild flame. This rule is then broken if the player is consistent, and the flaming is excessive.
6.3 - Non-staff members do have the right to express their opinion about a staff member without punishment, providing that the opinion complies with Section 6, subsection 2.
6.3 - In the event an issue is to arise, and a staff member is attempting to solve a player's issue. The player must respect the staff member's decision and comply with authority if the decision is deemed fair to all parties.
6.4 - Although staff members are to respect all members of the Lotus server, and vice versa, staff members are supreme and can overrule Section 6 if the player is non-compliant to all situations the staff member has provided as a means of final resolution.
Section 7 - Threats
7.1 - Players must not make any real-life threats to other Lotus players.
7.2 - Players must not use the term DDoS in a threatening manner on the Lotus server, or Lotus forum.
7.3 - Players must not carry out any forms of attack on another Lotus player whether it is to gain personal advantage or not, including, but not limited to, DDoS attacks.
7.4 - Players must not threaten to leak any information known about another Lotus player without permission, which may put the Lotus player at risk, including, but not limited to, Skype usernames.
Section 8 - Account security / privacy
8.1 - Players must not give out any personal account information.
8.2 - Players are not obliged, but are recommended to protect their account with the Lotus Account Guardian
8.3 - Any activity which is held on your IP address, is deemed your responsibility no matter what the case. If you let a friend on your account and they break a rule, the owner of the account will be held responsible for giving them access in the first place.
8.4 - Players should not give out their password, or access to their account.
8.5 - Players should not attempt to bypass the Lotus Account Guardian on a player's account. This rule is linked to Section 3, subsection 4.
8.6 - Players should not attempt to brute force any player's account, through manual or automated entry. This rule is linked to Section 3, subsection 5, Section 3, subsection 6.
8.7 - Players must not attempt to steal another player's password through any means.
8.8 - If access is gained to another player's account with, or without permission, the hacker must not attempt to take anything that does not belong to them.
8.9 - Players should choose complex passwords in order to protect their account to prevent unauthorised access. If rule Section 8, subsection 2 is activated, the complex password recommendation is not as strongly advised.
Section 9 - Staking
9.1 - To avoid any conflict with staking, rules should be agreed prior to the accepting of a stake within the chat box. Necessary screenshots should be taken to ensure that a player is covered if the stake goes corrupt.
9.2 - Players should stake according to the rules agreed/set during the first and second screens of the stake, and by the rules said in the chatbox if any were present.
9.3 - Players should only stake physical, trade-able in-game items, unless a staff member, or trusted middleman is available to govern the transaction.
9.4 - Players should be aware of their own connection speed/latency before continuing into a stake. If a player experiences a user disconnection during a stake, items will not be refunded.
9.5 - If a player experiences a server disconnection during a stake, providing the player has proof of the event, both parties will be refunded.
Section 10 - Risk fighting
10.1 - Rules of a risk fight should be agreed and confirmed before the risk fight commences.
10.2 - Both players of the risk fight are recommended to record and provide screenshots of the fight to ensure the winnings if the risk fight goes corrupt. No refunds will be given if no evidence is provided.
10.3 - Players are allowed to teleport in a risk fight, assuming the agreement does not involve both players agreeing that it is a "deathmatch".
10.4 - Players should make sure their agreement is clear, and not vague. Players should make sure they have sufficient proof of the other player definitely agreeing to the rules of the risk fight before commencing.
10.5 - Players should abide by the rules of the agreed risk fight.
10.5.1 - Players should not use any other forms of attack other than what is agreed of the risk fight.
10.6 - Players should respect the other party of the risk fight regardless of the outcome. This rule is linked to Section 6, subsection 1.

11.1 - Players must not excessively 'rag' another player
11.2 - Players must not excessively 'rush' another player
11.3 - Players must not attempt to farm PK points, regardless of whether a player is able to, or not.
